Everything I create is built on the belief that people deserve guidance that protects their humanity, nurtures their potential, and keeps God at the center of their journey.
I am an HR leader, storyteller, researcher, and career strategist who founded Gracefully Ambitious and Hire Learning to challenge the beliefs and environments that convince people to sacrifice their peace, purpose, and identity in the name of work. After nearly 20 years of navigating the realities of corporate life, supporting executives, developing teams, and guiding thousands of employees, I became intentional about creating the honest, faith-centered resources I once needed myself.
My experiences as a Black woman in leadership, the emotional and spiritual toll of harmful workplaces, and the resilience required to move through them, shaped my commitment to elevating underrepresented voices. Those same experiences now fuel my work across the Hell at Work, Hope in God spiritual survival series, The Muted Voices Network, and the Hire Learning coaching platform.
Gracefully Ambitious stands on the belief that real growth requires both truth and compassion. My approach combines emotional intelligence, lived experience, academic research, and God-centered wisdom to help individuals create clarity, develop effective strategies, and navigate transitions without burnout or self-betrayal. I do not teach perfection. I teach sustainability, resilience, and spiritual grounding.
Before the books, the platforms, and the videos, mentoring was at the center of my life. Helping people see themselves, understand their worth, and navigate difficult seasons is the driving force behind everything I create. Today, through Gracefully Ambitious, I help people reclaim their power, protect their purpose, and grow into who God designed them to be, all while avoiding the pitfalls of losing themselves to the workplace.

Inclusive workplace policies, including gender identity guidelines later leveraged for global use, were developed to strengthen equity and psychological safety. Culture initiatives centered on belonging, humility, and cross-cultural collaboration, supporting teams operating in distributed and multicultural environments.
High-performing HR teams were built and strengthened through intentional coaching, mentorship, and leadership support, especially within lean and rapidly evolving environments.
